Clear responsibilities, decisions and next steps.
Bola coordinates the work, follows up agreed actions and keeps you informed.
The scope makes clear what Bola owns and which decisions stay with you.
Clarity. Control. Completion.
Clarify
Start with the situation, the outcome you need and the constraints around it. Identify what is known, what needs checking and which decisions are required before work can move forward.
Plan
Agree the scope, responsibilities, priorities and sequence. Set out approvals, dependencies and how progress will be reviewed. For Chief of Staff, this includes the area of outcome ownership and the operating rhythm. For Executive Operations, it defines the responsibilities to be supported.
Organise
Put the information, documents and working routines in place. Clarify who contributes, who decides and where the current position can be found.
Deliver
Coordinate the work, review outputs and follow through on actions. Surface risks and decisions while there is still time to address them. Keep the client informed through the reporting arrangements agreed for the engagement.
Complete
Confirm what has been delivered against the agreed scope. Record outstanding decisions, dependencies and any handover responsibilities. For continuing work, use the review to establish the next set of priorities.
What you can expect to agree
The intended outcome and the boundaries of the scope.
The responsibilities BCM will hold and the decisions that remain with you.
The people, information and access needed to do the work.
The communication, availability, reporting and approval arrangements.
The way completion or continuing progress will be reviewed.
Founder led thinking and documentation
Bola Olabode personally writes and builds BCM’s brand and strategy documents. The founder’s involvement connects the brief, the reasoning and the documentation used to guide delivery.
Discretion is part of the scope
Access, permissions and sensitive information need clear boundaries. These are discussed with the responsibilities being delegated, so the arrangements match the work involved.
Start with the priority
You do not need a complete brief before getting in touch. A short outline of what needs to happen is enough to begin the discussion.
“With Bola, I can hand something over knowing she will give it the attention it deserves.”
